Join Berkeley Herbal Center staff member Hannah Pearl for a slow and mindful herb walk through the beautiful Bancroft Community Garden — an organic oasis in the heart of Berkeley. You’ll meet and learn about abundant local medicinal plants and deepen your connection with the vibrant ecology that thrives in urban spaces. This walk proceeds at an easy pace with frequent stops and is suitable for most fitness levels.
The Bancroft Community Garden is a volunteer-run space that supports food equity and community connection, offering free/donation-based organic produce at the garden entrance. Come ready to experience the peace and tranquility this special place provides. Please wear sturdy walking shoes and dress in layers to prepare for changing weather.
