Black Herbal Makers Market

Come join us for our Inaugural Black Herbal Makers Market with local BIPOC herbalists and healers!

Berkeley Herbal Center, in collaboration with Shereel Washington, is proud to host this community event, amplifying Black voices in herbalism to foster a greater sense of gratitude, acknowledgment, and appreciation for their contributions. Notable Black herbalists like Harriet Tubman, Ms. Emma Dupree, and George Washington Carver have made essential contributions to what is known as Western Herbalism on the North American continent. This event is to support the next generation of Black herbalists and healers. We extend our deepest thanks to Shereel Washington, a beloved instructor at Berkeley Herbal Center, for curating this event. We can’t wait to see you and share this important day with you all!
